New QUEST3+ Login Method – MyTrustID
Please be informed that a new login method for the QUEST3+ System, known as MyTrustID, will be implemented effective 8 July 2026 (Wednesday), 10.00 AM.
The MyTrustID login method provides users with a more flexible and convenient way to access the QUEST3+ System using the following supported web browsers:

Unlike the existing Java Login Method, MyTrustID does not require users to install Java and is not limited to Mozilla Firefox only.
For users who wish to continue using the existing Java Login Method, the method will remain available. However, please note that Java Login is only compatible with Mozilla Firefox and requires the relevant Java application to be installed.
Users are advised to refer to the MyTrustID User Manual for installation and login instructions before using the new login method.
Thank you for your cooperation.

FAQ: MyTrustID Login Issue – Browser Configuration Required
System: QUEST3+
Category: Login & Authentication
Issue: MyTrustID Desktop Authentication Not Proceeding
Q1: Why is my QUEST3+ login stuck at "Digital Certificate Authorisation In Progress"?
When logging in to QUEST3+ using MyTrustID, you may encounter the following message:
"Digital Certificate Authorisation In Progress. Please wait..."
This issue may occur when your browser's Local Network Access security setting blocks communication between the QUEST3+ login page and the MyTrustID Desktop application installed on your computer.
As a result, the authentication process may not proceed.
Q2: How can I resolve this issue in Google Chrome?
If you are using Google Chrome, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.
Step 2: Copy the following address and paste it into a new browser tab:
chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check
Step 3: Press Enter to open the Chrome experimental settings page.
Step 4: Locate the setting named "Local Network Access check".
Step 5: Change the dropdown selection from Default to Disabled.
Step 6: Click the "Relaunch" button at the bottom of the page to restart Google Chrome.
Step 7: Return to the QUEST3+ login page:
https://quest3plus.bpfk.gov.my/front-end/loginmytrustid.php
Step 8: Try logging in again using MyTrustID.
Important: Disabling this browser security feature may reduce protection against unauthorised local network access. This workaround should only be used if necessary and permitted by your organisation's IT security policy. Please contact your IT administrator for assistance if required.
Q3: What should I do if the issue persists after changing the browser settings?
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
-
Ensure that the MyTrustID Desktop application is installed and running on your computer.
-
Confirm that your USB Token is properly connected.
-
Close and reopen Google Chrome.
-
Retry the QUEST3+ login process.
-
If the issue persists, contact your organisation's IT administrator or QUEST3+ Helpdesk for further assistance.
Q4: Is there an alternative login method if MyTrustID is still not working?
Yes. If you are unable to log in using MyTrustID, you may use the alternative Java-based login method.
Please access the following URL:
https://quest3plus.bpfk.gov.my/front-end/loginjava.php
Important: The Java-based login method requires Mozilla Firefox. Please ensure that you are using Mozilla Firefox and that the necessary Java components are properly configured.
Q5: Does this issue indicate a problem with my QUEST3+ account or USB Token?
Not necessarily.
If the authentication process remains stuck at "Digital Certificate Authorisation In Progress", the issue may be related to browser security settings or communication with the MyTrustID Desktop application rather than your QUEST3+ account or USB Token.
Please complete the recommended troubleshooting steps before requesting further assistance.
